Op Football Preview: Valley View

GERMANTOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - Football will be taking a different view in Germantown this season after the departure of long time head coach Jay Niswonger.

For the first time in nearly 30-years, a new head coach will lead the Spartans.

Kris Ketron takes over at Valley View with some pretty big shoes to fill.

In 29 seasons, Niswonger led the Spartans to three state championships.

However, this will be somewhat of a rebuilding project for Ketron who takes over a 2-8 team.

Getting back to Valley Views glory days won't happen overnight.

Ketron obviously wants to put his own stamp on the program and the players are buying in 100 percent.
