DAYTON, Ohio - The #12 University of Dayton women’s basketball team earned its first-ever Atlantic 10 regular season championship on Sunday with a 73-66 win over the Saint Joseph Hawks 73-66. The Flyers became just the sixth Atlantic 10 team to finish the conference season undefeated.
UD improves to 26-1, breaking the Flyer record for wins in a season since becoming an NCAA Division I program. Dayton also clinched the No. 1 seed in the A-10 Championship.
