DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

The President will pardon one turkey and one alternate today at the White House.

25 Cherry Trees will be planted this afternoon at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as part of Operation 1,000 Cherry Tree Project.

The Legendary Rike's Christmas Windows go on display at the Schuster Center in Downtown Dayton.

Officials will cut the ribbon for the Tike Shop at 3 p.m at the Schuster Center. It officially opens to the public Friday.

Two Dayton Firefighters will be promoted during a ceremony at fire headquarters at 11 a.m.
