DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

Teachers, Staff and students from Sandy Hook Elementary will get together for orientation at their new school.

Pennsylvania's Governor will file a federal lawsuit against the NCAA. Governor Tom Corbett intends to sue the organization over sanctions imposed against Penn State following the Jerry Sandusky Scandal.

A robbery suspect will face a judge in the day ahead. Clark County Deputies say Beau Frank held up a Rite-Aid in Bethel Township Sunday afternoon.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck will take his oath of office at 3:30 this afternoon.    

Huber Heights students will begin the new year at the new Wayne High School building.
