DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 NEWS Today has 5 things you need to know for Wednesday, January 16, 2013.

You can help the family of Tipp City graduate Ellen Garner who died from injuries suffered during a fire at a home near the University of Cincinnati on New Year's Day.

10% of all proceeds from sales at Buffalo Wild Wings in Troy will be donated to the Garner Family.

Dwayne Ellison will be sentenced for shooting and killing Isaiah West at Gina's Party Store in Trotwood in May 2011.

A vacant industrial building will be demolished on Valley Street in Dayton. Crews will begin knocking down the old Electroplate building at 3 p.m.

The Dayton Fire Department will promote two members during a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at Fire Headquarters.

A week-long celebration of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. continues today at the University of Dayton. A panel discussion will be held at the Kennedy Union Torch Lounge at 11 a.m.
