Ohio schools are taking a second look at their own action plans following the Sandy Hook shooting. Attorney General Mike Dewine plans a news conference at 10 a.m. in Columbus to update the progress of the schools' initiatives.
Two House Democrats will push for a vote on legislation banning high capacity magazines. Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy of New York and Representative Diana Degette of Colorado will hold a news conference this morning in Washington.
Warren County officials will meet to discuss the theft of thousands of dollars from a youth soccer program. Officials said nearly $65,000 was taken from the Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association between 2009 and 2012.
Dayton Pastors will come together to rally against domestic violence at Cultural and RTA Center at 11 a.m.
The Red Cross will pass out holiday cards to Airmen at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
