DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is holding their 20th Annual Clara Barton Classic on Monday June 13, 2011 (rain or shine) at the Dayton Country Club.
"As one of the premiere fundraising events of the year for the chapter, The Classic benefits programs and services that are critical to daily operations," states Iris Juergens, Financial Development Director for the Dayton Area Chapter. "The ladies and gentlemen who play in the Clara Barton Classic(CBC) each year, know that the funds raised through the CBC play a crucial role in allowing the Red Cross to respond to needs of our communities."
The Clara Barton Classic offers great networking opportunities for professionals in the Dayton Area. With over 20 Dayton based companies participating each year.
The 18-hole Dayton course at the Dayton Country Club facility, features 6,285 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.6 and it has a slope rating of 131 on Bent grass.
Individual player registration is $250 and couples registration is $450. For those wishing to sponsor, the chapter recommends the Par Sponsorship for $1300. Sponsors will receive recognition on the course, the chapter website, course flags, an ad in this year program, and great food and beverages for their foursome throughout the day.
