Pet adoption fees dropped for February

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County's Animal Resource Center has announced adoption specials going on now through Valentine's Day.  

Adoption prices for dogs older than 5 months is $60. Puppies 5 months and younger are now being sold for $80. Cats and kittens are $30.  All animals are already spayed or neutered, have microchips, and are elgible for training classes.

The license extension also means extended hours at the Animal Resource Center. The ARC will open at 9 a.m., Monday through Saturday, January23rd throughFebruary 29th. The center will be open until 7 p.m. on the last day of license sales, February 29th.   Montgomery County dog licenses are $20 for dogs that have been spayed or neutered and $24 for unaltered dogs, but keep in mind, there are exceptions.
