COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) - Don't know if it's the most romantic Valentine's Day gift you could give, but tickets are available to see Governor John Kasich's State of the State address.
A limited number of tickets are available. The governor is taking his speech on the road again this year, to Lima on February 19.
This is the second time in as many years the Kasich is taking his address on the road. He spoke at an elementary school in Steubenville last year.
You can register for a ticket lottery until 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 14. The recipients will be notified by noon on Friday, February 15.
The governor says taking his State of the State address on the road is his way of making government more accessible to all Ohioans.
Critics say he's breaking the tradition of giving the speech in the state Capitol.
