SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A West Chester man was arrested Sunday after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said they found marijuana in his broken down car.
Troopers said when they stopped for the disabled vehicle on southbound Interstate 75 on Feb. 3, they saw a handgun on the front passenger seat and detected an odor of burnt marijuana.
A probable cause search uncovered a pound of hydroponic marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun
The driver, Qualin L. Daniel, 23, is charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of weapons under disability.
Troopers said the marijuana is worth nearly $4,500.
