COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A man in central Ohio has died after a police officer fired at least one shot during a response to a burglary call.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the shooting happened Tuesday morning. Columbus police have not determined if the officer's shot killed the man or whether he was injured inside the apartment complex building. It's also unclear what prompted the officer to shoot or how many shots were fired.

Police tell the paper that two men are in custody in connection with the shooting. Officials had been looking for two men seen fleeing the scene earlier.

Columbus police have fatally shot two men since Saturday.
