CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) - Celina's police chief is on paid administrative leave during an investigation into possible misconduct on the job.

The safety services director confirmed David Slusser's status to 2 NEWS Wednesday.

Chief Slusser was put on leave February 14, 2013.

A letter sent to the chief does not detail the allegations against him, but ordered him not to talk about the investigation.

Slusser was also ordered to turn in his gun, badge, ID and keys.

He must stay away from the police department and any City of Celina facility while the investigation continues.
