COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Police say two men have been shot to death in Ohio's capital city in a seven-hour span. The shootings took place one mile from each other.
Authorities say 51-year-old Charles P. Rogers was found outside just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died four hours later.
Later Saturday night, authorities found 30-year-old Reico Taylor outside with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died early Sunday.
Police say they don't yet know why the men were shot, and they don't yet have suspects. It wasn't immediately clear if the two shootings are related.
The shooting deaths are the 64th and 65th homicides of the year for Columbus.
