HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in southwest Ohio have arrested six people on charges that involve distributing large amounts of cocaine and heroin in the Cincinnati area.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that two of the six arrestees were responsible for handing over the drugs to local dealers.
Deputies are accusing a man in Atlanta of helping to supply the illegal substances. They say once the drugs got to Ohio, they were stored at homes under the control of two sisters in Cincinnati.
The sheriff's office says that during a two-day search, deputies seized more than 4 pounds of cocaine, a pound of heroin and more than $100,000.
