WARREN CO., Ohio (WDTN) - A 10-year old boy was flown to the hospital Friday night after a crash in Clearcreek Township.
The crash happened on Route 48, just north of Route 73 around 7:15 pm.
Investigators say a mini Cooper was heavily damaged after turning into the path of an SUV.
The 10-year old boy traveling in the mini Cooper had to be cut from the wreckage. He was flown by Careflight to Dayton Children's Medical Center. The boy's father, Paul Kessler, 49, suffered a broken arm.
A 7-month old baby riding in the SUV was also transported to the hospital as a precaution. His mother, Angela Dilland, 34, of Waynesville, refused treatment. Police say the baby was properly secured in a baby seat.
The road re-opened after a couple of hours.
