Memorial plans set for crash victim

SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) - A memorial service is now set for the Springboro High School football player killed in a crash on his way to school.

Shaun Frechette's teammates plan to honor him during Saturday's game with his jersey number 70 spray painted on the field and also on their helmets.

Shaun died Thursday in a crash on State Route 741 near Springboro High School.

Visitation will be Monday, November 5 beginning at 5:00 pm in the high school auditorium followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm.

A memorial fund has also been set up to help with funeral costs.
