MASON, Ohio (WDTN) - During “Pink Days” at Kings Island August 1-25, guests can buy discounted tickets at the price of just $31.99 in advance online at www.visitkingsisland.com, a savings of $22 off the regular adult front gate admission price.
One dollar from each online ticket sold during “Pink Days” will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Cincinnati affiliate as part of the third annual Kings Island for the Cure campaign to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
In addition, guests can purchase a pink rubber Snoopy for just $5 for one or five for $20 at the park, online at www.visitkingsisland.com, or at Huntington Bank locations for a chance to win a brand new 2012 Honda Fit courtesy of Kings Honda and Performance Honda. After being purchased, the Snoopy’s are tossed into the park’s Royal Fountain on International Street. On August 25, one lucky Snoopy will be randomly selected from the fountain and the owner of that Snoopy will win the car. All proceeds from the Snoopy sales goes directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Cincinnati affiliate.
Kings Island for the Cure is in its third season. To date, more than $400,000 has been raised for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Cincinnati affiliate through the campaign, including $219,000 last year.
