CINCINNATI (AP) - A 4-year-old boy critically injured in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 75 in Warren County is fighting for his life Monday.

State Patrol Sgt. Stan Jordan says doctors aren't sure whether 4-year-old Darius Nkansah of Fairfield will survive, but that "he's fighting."

Police suspect that Darius' father, 40-year-old Joshua Nkansah, was driving drunk with his two sons when he turned around on the freeway around 2:30 a.m. Sunday near Franklin and collided head-on with a minivan carrying a Tennessee family.

Killed instantly were Joshua Nkansah, his 7-year-old son David, and 31-year-old Michele Barhorst, who was in the minivan with her family.

Her husband, 37-year-old Scott Barhorst, died later at a hospital. The couple's 9-year-old daughter was the most seriously hurt of their children, but she's now expected to survive.
