New Sidney McDonald's opens Friday

SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) - A newly renovated McDonald's prepared for its opening in Sidney by announcing special deals and giveaways.

The fast-food restaurant will be open Friday, October 19 at 5 a.m. on W. Michigan Avenue.  A grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will be held at 10 a.m. To celebrate, the renovated McDonald’s will offer celebratory specials and deals at the 2215 W. Michigan Avenue location, including:  One free Extra Value Meal a week for one year to the first 50 customers; Free Small Premium Roast Coffee on October 21 and 28;  $1.00 Hamburger Happy Meals at 5:30 p.m. on October 24.

Completed renovations include a dual ordering system, more seating, flat screen televisions, larger restrooms, and Wi-Fi.

20 new employees have been hired.

The original McDonald’s restaurant located on West Michigan Avenue opened in 1978.
