MAPLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - 700 charges have been filed following an alleged puppy mill bust in Shelby County.
Dave and Rhonda Auton and their son, Adam Auton, have each been charged with 241 counts of cruelty to animals.
Deputies took more than 240 dogs from Pedigree Pets in the small town of Maplewood on Saturday, November 17.
The Shelby County Animal shelter says the dogs were living in filth.
Some they say were malnourished while still others were in need of medical care.
