EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Columbus man was arrested Tuesday with what Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said was more than five pounds of heroin.
Troopers stopped a rented 2012 Dodge Charger with Florida registration for an unsafe lane change violation on Interstate 70 in Preble County just before 1 p.m.
A drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle and a probable cause search uncovered 5.5 pounds of heroin concealed in the false bottom of a piece of luggage.
Juan Carlos Arcos, 23, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession of criminal tools. He was also cited with driving without a valid license and making an unsafe lane change. He is being held in the Preble County Jail.
Investigators valued the drugs at more than $370,000.
