WEST ALEXANDRIA, Ohio (WDTN) - One person was killed in an accident in Preble County Thursday afternoon.
A car traveling eastbound on Lexington Road failed to stop at the intersection of SR 503 and was struck by a southbound SUV, killing the driver of the car, according to Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson.
Simpson said the victim is an Indiana man in his 60s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female passenger in the car, who Simpson said was from Preble County, was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital.
The female driver of the SUV was also taken to Miami Valley Hospital.
Simpson said both suffered serious injuries.
