Fire engulfs Preble County apt. complex

VERONA, Ohio (WDTN) - An intense apartment fire broke out on East Main Street in Verona around one o'clock on Wednesday.

According to witnesses, flames were shooting out of the house.

Multiple fire departments had to be called.

The small apartment building was undergoing renovations, and only one person was living there.

The fire marshal has been called to determine the cause.
