Driver slams SUV into tractor-trailer

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Richmond, Ind. woman suffered serious injuries after she slammed her SUV into the bed of a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning.

Police said the semi was backing into a driveway when Julie Chimenti, 51, crashed into the trailer.

CareFlight was initially called, but could not fly due to weather conditions.

Chimenti was taken by medics to Miami Valley Hospital.

The accident happened about 7 a.m in the 900 block of Eaton Richmond Pike in Eaton.
