WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - West Carrollton City leaders made if official Tuesday evening.

A controversial speed limit on the Dixie Drive and Central Avenue corridor will be changed.

The council made the limit 25-miles per hour through the newly constructed street, but many drivers called it a speed trap.

The council voted to raise the speed limit to 30 miles per hour instead of the driver-suggested 35 mph.

The change will take effect on January 10, 2013.
