RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) - Police worked to unravel a mystery after they found a van in a ditch, but no one inside it early Monday morning.

Crews found the beat up van around 1:30 a.m. on the southbound side of State Route 4 near Harshman Road.

A few feet away, emergency crews found two men with injuries, who appeared to be intoxicated.

Police said they could have been the people inside the van but they aren't sure at this point.

The crash is still under investigation.
