Two indicted in Dayton toddler death

DAYTON, OH (WDTN) - There are new developments in the investigation into the death of a Dayton toddler.

2 NEWS has learned Joe Watson and Michelle Mooty have been indicted in the death of Mooty's son.

The victim, Levi Barrett, was only 2-years-old.

Last week, the coroner ruled Levi's death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma.

Watson is the boyfriend of the toddler's mother.

He is charged with murder, child endangering and felonious assault.

Mooty is charged with permitting child abuse.
