DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 NEWS has learned that ten families have come forward to claim the cremated remains of loved ones found in a Dayton home.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office hopes that still more families can be located.
The cremains of 56 people were found inside the Philadelphia Drive home of former funeral director, Scherrie McLin and her sister, Tanya Anderson, on September 18.
They were found inside a closet by a man clearing out the foreclosed home.
Coroner Ken Betz says he is still working to contact next of kin.
You can call the Montgomery County Coroner's Office at 225-4156 if you think your loved one is involved.
The State of Ohio revoked McLin's license back in 2011.
