DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An all day standoff ended with no suspect, and consequently, no arrest.

It started around 8:15 Friday morning when police said the suspect, 25-year-old Bellian Marshall, shot another man near the intersection of North Main and Pioneer streets in Dayton.

Marshall got away, and SWAT surrounded a house about four blocks on Helena Street, believing that was where Marshall was hiding.

Around 2:30 p.m, officers sent a surveillance robot inside the house before entering and discovering Marshall was not there.

Police have not released the name of the victim, but did say he is expected to recover.

Investigators said the two men were fighting over a woman.
