Suspect roundup in pawn shop shootout

One arrested, one dead, one questioned, one loose

HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County Sheriff just wrapped up a news conference about the suspects in a pawn shop shootout.

One suspect is now in custody in Michigan. Darren Dwayne Taylor, 47, of Southfield, Michigan, is charged with six counts, including aggravated murder, robbery and felonious assault.

Deputies say he and three others tried to rob the Cash to Go Pawn Shop on Salem Avenue in Harrison Twp. Thursday morning.

They got into a gun battle with the store clerk, who later died from his injuries.

We're told a second suspect in the shootout was also killed and the the suspects dumped his body along a Michigan roadway.

A third suspect, a woman, is being questioned and the fourth suspect is still on the loose.
