HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Junior ROTC cadets from Huber Heights schools have a small success in the effort to save their program.

It, along with all extracurricular activities, was slashed as part of $6.4 million budget cuts made in January.

So the cadets and their parents formed the non-profit Huber Heights Cadet Foundation.  They hope to raise $145,000 to pay for the program's continuation.

So far, they have rasied $3,500 through donations and fundraisers.  If you would like to help, click here
