Shoppers load up on Black Friday deals

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Shoppers from across the Miami Valley braved long lines and packed stores to score some of the best discounts of the holiday season.

2 NEWS caught up with shoppers waiting in line at the Kohl's in Beavercreek. Several people told us that the store was their second or third stop because it was not opening until midnight.

Shoppers wrapped around the ToysRUS in Miamisburg when it opened at 8 p.m. Thursday. A short distance away, at Best Buy, the first person in line told us he'd been waiting there since Tuesday and planned to buy "everything (he) can get."

Meanwhile, at Kohl's, shopper Jamie Larson, told us she was "on a mission," but to her, Black Friday is all about having fun.

"I get to bond with my brother-in-law, so I think it's fun. Yes it's late, and we're crazy.. but it's fun to get good deals and it's fun to go shopping," Larson said.

Most people say they are going to shop 'till they drop-- stores will be crowded throughout the day.

So if you plan on heading out and joining in the Black Friday festivities, or already have, we'd love to see your photos. Tell us what your experience was like here: ReportIt
