DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Time to get in touch with your inner scientist this weekend.
Tech Fest is a two day event held at Sinclair Community College in Dayton.
Participants can experience over 80 interactive science and technology demonstrations and games.
It's not only for students. Tech Fest offers plenty of family fare, including information seminars.
Local astronaut Mark Brown will be just one of the featured speakers.
"I was always interested in a very early age in being a pilot. So, I always had a math, science leaning, but the thing we really see is when you can engage children with a hands-on experience, and that's what Tech Fest does," said Mark Brown, Astronaut.
Tech Fest runs Saturday and Sunday at several locations around Sinclair.
WDTN's Dan Edwards hosts opening ceremonies Saturday morning at 10:00 at the Ponitz Center.
This is the 11th year for Tech Fest. For information, click here .
Crews were called to West Stewart Street and Danner Avenue just before 9:00 pm.
