Robbery suspect connected to homicide

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - New information on the investigation into a Huber Heights homicide.

At this time, no one has been charged with homicide but, police have made two arrests in crimes they believe could be linked.
    
2 NEWS obtained a copy of the affidavit filed in Huber Heights that outlined the connection between Gerry and Jesse Stinson and the October 10 homicide of Tyree North.

When officers found North dead inside his Mt. Charles Lane home, they discovered his laptop and other electronic items had also been stolen.
    
Investigators talked with a neighbor, Cynthia Poole, who admitted Jesse Stinson had been staying with her.
    
Another witness told police they overheard Stinson talking about a home invasion and robbery that had happened in the area around the same time.
    
When officers interviewed Stinson last month, they say he told them Poole wanted the laptop for her daughter.
    
Stinson has since moved out of Poole's home and has been staying with his cousin, Gerry Stinson, in Dayton.
    
On Monday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Garfield Street. They will not say what they found, but tell 2 NEWS they collected several items connected to thefts and robberies in the Dayton area.

At this point, both Gerry and Jesse Stinson are behind bars in the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated charges of theft and robbery.
