Riverside home goes up in flames

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) - Flames and smoke damage a riverside home overnight.
The fire sparked just before 12:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Lorella Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof.
The family inside got out safely.
No official cause has been determined, but first reports suggest it started from electrical problem near the kitchen area.
The Purple Passion 5K run/walk was held at Shawnee Park Saturday afternoon.
