DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - As the rain rolled in Monday evening, Storm Team 2 was already preparing for a switch over to some snow showers.

Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis says a cold front will drop temperatures and it will once again feel like winter in the Miami Valley.

The rain should give way to snow early Tuesday morning.

"Accumulations will be light, but it could be just enough to make some slick spots on the roads in the morning," said Davis.

Davis says we shouldn't see more than an inch from the system.

Temperatures will be in the 25-30 degree range over the next couple of days.

With that said, be sure to watch Storm Team 2 tonight on 2 NEWS at 10 on Dayton's CW and on 2 NEWS at 11.

Then, check in with us first thing in the morning to check on road conditions for your morning commute.  2 NEWS Today starts at 4:30 am and don't forget you can also tune in at 7:00 am for 2 NEWS Today on Dayton's CW.
