Police on scene of double shooting in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police are investigating a double shooting.

Crews were called to 420 Bowen Street around 3:45 pm.  Officers found one victim shot in the shoulder.  They then discovered that a second victim was driven to Miami Valley Hospital.  He suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.   Both men had non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police think the shooting happened at a lower level apartment, then one victim made his way outside.

Drugs were also found in an apartment as was a man on probation.

Police took him into custody.  The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting was still being investigated early Wednesday evening.
