DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton homicide detectives are checking out the death of an elderly man.
Police say family members discovered the 95-year old man in the basement of his Hochwalt Avenue home around 3:00 pm.
Investigators call his death suspicious.
"We were alerted to the deceased by a family member and the detectives have a lot of work to do to start answering those questions," said Lt. Wendy Stiver, Dayton Police Department.
Officials say it's very early in the investigation.
