DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton Police are investigating the city's latest homicide.

Dayton homicide detectives were called to the H and H Service Center at 2647 West Riverview Avenue shortly after 3:00 pm Friday.

Police found Willie Boddie, Jr., 28, dead in the driver's seat of a white Dodge Charger.  They say he was shot three times with a handgun.

A passenger in the car was unharmed.  Police say this doesn't appear to be a robbery.

Police are interviewing witnesses and neighbors.  Neighbors say they heard gunshots, then screaming and saw a man run in the alley behind this business.

There have been at least four shootings in the area in the past week.  Police are trying to figure out if any are linked.

"We don't know for certain, obviously, once we get the identity of the person that was shot and any other evidence that we might pick or any of the statements, we may at a later time be able to determine if it is connected," said Lt. Donald Burden, Dayton Police Department.

Police have only a vague description of a suspect.  He has a medium build and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867 if you have any information about the crime.
