DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Nurses marched in downtown Dayton Tuesday, targeting Wall Street.
Members of National Nurses United demand a national financial transaction tax.
A spokesperson, Yvonne Curington, told us it's only fair that bankers and brokers help dig America out of a crisis created by their misdeeds.
Curington says a five cent tax on every financial transaction by Wall Street could generate $350-million a year.
That is money she believes could be spent on education, healthcare, roads, and bridges.
