DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The recent rash of violence was a topic of discussion at a Dayton mayoral meet and greet Wednesday evening.
Candidates gathered to discuss pressing issues with community members and answer their questions.
New Zion Missionary Baptist Church played host.
The candidates had their chance to share where they stand on various issues.
"We have a lot of tough questions being asked from friends, people that live in the community, people that are concerned about the homicide rate and a lot of current events that have taken place in the city," said Catherine Allen, church member.
Church organizers say the ten people who took out petitions to campaign for the mayoral race were invited to the event.
