HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Formal charges have been approved on a Huber Heights man stemming from an overnight incident that led to an Amber Alert.

Timothy Conatser, 32, is facing domestic violence charges.  He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail without bond Friday.

According to police, Conatser and his wife, Tina, got into an argument over food when Conaster turned violent.

"He just starting beating on me," said Tina.  "Then he took off with my 10-year-old son"

Police said Conatser left their home on Neptune Lane with his stepson just before 1 a.m.

Police located Timothy Conatser and the boy several hours later at a relatives home in Fairborn.

The boy was not harmed.

Conatser was arrested.
