Man drives truck into area bar

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - Three people are recovering after a driver smashed his truck into the side of an Englewood bar.

It happened just before 3 Sunday morning at the Courtyard Lounge on West National road.

When police arrived a pick-up truck was lodged into the wall of the bar.

The driver was arrested at the scene.  

Police said its unclear why he drove his truck into the bar; however, witnesses believe it could have been an act of revenge for a fight that happened at the bar earlier in the night.    

"It was pretty chaotic when we arrived," said Officer Richard Ring with the Englewood police department.  "People were running everywhere and the driver was sit sitting in his truck."

The incident remains under investigation.
