KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) -  A Dayton woman is suing the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati for what she said is wrongful termination, according to the associated press.

Kathleen Quinlan formerly taught at Ascension Catholic School in Kettering.  In December 2011, the unmarried woman claimed she announced she was pregnant.  Quinlan said that same day school leaders told her to resign or she would be fired.

A termination letter said she was fired for in part, "Violating a section of her employment contract."

Quinlan was not married when she found out she was pregnant.

This is the second lawsuit that's been filed in the last two years against the Archdiocese of Cincinnati over the firing of a pregnant teacher.
