KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - Kettering police need your help to find a missing man.

John Neil, 69, was last seen Monday, January 7 leaving his apartment building.

Police do not fear foul play, but his family fears for his safety.  Neil has numerous health problems and takes several medications.

He is described as  5'5", 160 pounds with long hair and light colored beard.  He was wearing jeans and a blue or black jacket when he disappeared.

Police say Neil has a history of walking away from his home.  He previously boarded a Greyhound bus and was found in Chicago, Illinois.

Police have yet to release a photo of Neil.  Call the Kettering Police Department at 296-2555 should you have any information about his disappearance.
