HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - The Huber Heights City School District made some tough decisions Wednesday night.

The school board voted to make major cuts following a levy failure in November.

Cuts will include teachers, extra curricular activities and field trips.

The district's superintendent had this so say right after the levy failed, "Ohio must fix it's funding problem with schools.  Tax payers cannot continue to support, they've told us that.  This was our third attempt at a levy and we understand that," said Susan Gunnell, Huber Heights Schools.

2 NEWS will have complete coverage of the dire situation in Huber Heights on 2 NEWS at 10 on Dayton's CW and 2 NEWS AT 11.
