Huber residents worry about music noise

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Plans for an $18-million music center were discussed at the Huber Heights City Council meeting Tuesday night.

The center would be located at I-70 and State Route 201.

It will be an open-air venue, so there are concerns about the noise level.

People who live nearby were anxious to hear the plans.

"It's quiet back there now, but with a lot of stuff coming in, it would make it real noisy," said Diane Cox, Huber Heights resident.

"Nothing's been decided yet, so we're still looking into the project, so we want input from the citizens, what are their concerns, so we want to here them now to address them," said Scott Falkowski, Asst. City Manager.

The plans are expected to be finalized by mid-March.
