Girl Scout cookies ready for delivery

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Thousand of boxes of girl scout cookies were delivered to troops in Miamisburg on Saturday, which was welcome news to Miami Valley residents.

Chris Own, who usually packs and delivers furniture, served as the top cookie man by calling out colors and packing waiting cars. Owen was responsible for getting nearly 800,000 boxes of girl scout cookies into the the right hands.

The girl scouts sell over 200 million cookie packages a year to more than 50 million customers.
