Freezing rain threatens parts of valley

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Parts of the Miami Valley could get some freezing rain overnight into Tuesday morning.

A low pressure system is moving into the Ohio Valley and temperatures will be just cold enough to raise some issues.

Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis say the freezing rain should be brief.  "Temperatures will warm quickly then rain will be likely throughout the day," said Davis.

We could actually see some snow fall toward the middle and later part of the week.  Brian is watching that system closely.  Some accumulation is possible, but it is still early to say how much.

Be sure to use our interactive weather page to get an up close and personal forecast over the next several days.
