DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - As part of America Recycles Day, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery will offer free admission to those who make good use of recycled materials.
On Saturday, November 10, the first 300 people who bring 10 aluminum cans to the museum will receive free admission and a Recycling Rocks T-shirt. All other visitors who bring 10 aluminum cans will receive three dollars off regular admission.
America Recycles Day is a national awareness campaign to encourage recycling and the purchase of recycled content items.
Special programs and activities will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon, including mascot appearances and prize drawings.
The Montgomery County Solid Waste District, a division of Montgomery County Department of Environmental Services, is sponsoring the event. For more information, please call (937) 225-4999 or visit www.mcswd.org.
